Women's Health Road is a multidisciplinary, holistic women's health practice specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Aimed at creating a streamlined journey for women and their families to be heard and supported in their choices.

Dr Talat Uppal is our Obstetrician & Gynaecologist specialist, who currently works both at the Northern Beaches and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospitals as a Visiting Medical Officer. She has a DDU sonographic qualification obtained in 2010 which gives her an advantage of being formally trained in ultrasound. As the Director of Women's Health Road she has pioneered an innovative, digitally integrated, multidisciplinary obstetric and gynaecology service with in-house ultrasound facilities.

Penny Hanlon is a dedicated pelvic floor physiotherapist who specialises in women's health. She treats a range of women's health concerns such as: Urinary incontinence and Infrequency, Pelvic organ prolapse, Abdominal separation, Pre and Post-natal care and issues associated with Menopause.

Dr Penelope De Lacavalerie is our colorectal specialist who provides general and colorectal surgery. She has a special interest in women’s health, Perineal tears and Prolapses. Dr De Lacavalerie brings an opportunity for postnatal perineal assessment to our community in conjunction with our physiotherapist, Penny Hanlon, nurse/midwife, Dr Deborah Sims and OBGYN, Dr Talat Uppal.

Dr Harpreet Arora is a urogynaecologist with a special interest in: Laparoscopic surgery for benign gynaecology, Prolapse and Incontinence (Laparoscopic and Vaginal), Menstrual abnormalities and Pelvic pain and Pelvic Mesh complications.

Dr Deborah Sims is a registered nurse and registered midwife, who is highly experienced in women’s emotional health and wellness. She provides a holistic approach to assessment, information, education, non-directive counselling,  referral and support for women on their health journey through all life-stages (Adolescence, Antenatal, Postnatal, Dysmenorrhea, Cancer, Perimenopause and Aging.)

Dr Irandani (Bambi) Ranasinghe-Markus is a GP specialist with a special interest in women's health

Dr Rabia Shaikh is an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and a leading fertility specialist, providing her patients with compassionate and detailed care. She has undergone advanced laparoscopic training at Westmead, Northshore and Mater Hospitals with leading laparoscopic surgeons having worked at a number of prominent hospitals across New South Wales. Her wide range of fertility experience undertaken at both IVF Australia (Westmead Private) and Westmead Fertility Center also extends to fertility preservation with Oncology patients. She provides expertise in the areas of: Male and Female fertility (including Ovulation induction/IVF/ICSI), Fertility Preservation, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Grade 4 Endometriosis, Advanced Laparoscopic surgery (Myomectomy/Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy) and recurrent Miscarriages.
