Dr Renata Medeiros Burttet is a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health, particularly in the areas of perimenopause and menopause. She is passionate about helping women navigate this important life stage with confidence, clarity, and care.

Dr Burttet takes a holistic and personalised approach to treatment, combining lifestyle and stress management strategies with evidence-based medical care, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Her warm and supportive manner allows her patients to feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Originally from Brazil, Dr Burttet completed her medical degree and became a specialist in Family Medicine. She worked for over a decade in Brazil before moving to Australia, where she is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Since settling in Australia, she has continued to focus on women’s health, caring for individuals and families across different life stages.

In recent years, Dr Burttet has chosen to dedicate her professional development to perimenopause and menopause—areas she feels are critically underserved. She finds this work incredibly rewarding and is committed to helping women feel like themselves again through balanced, patient-centred care. Dr Burttet sees women 35+ for perimenopause and menopause care.

Dr Burttet is also an advocate for raising awareness and education around perimenopause and menopause, both within the medical profession and the broader community. She shares resources and insights on her Instagram page @doctor_renata.

She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and understands Spanish well.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr Burttet enjoys spending time with her partner, her two daughters, and their dog. She also loves playing beach tennis and making the most of the beautiful Northern Beaches lifestyle.
