Dr. Megan Young is a Specialist General Practitioner with a passion for women's health. After graduating from James Cook University in 2011, Dr. Young worked at at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Ipswich Hospital, before moving to Central Queensland to complete her GP training.

Dr Young Fellowed with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017 and attained her Masters in Public Health from the University of Sydney in 2023.

Dr Young has experience in women's health and family planning, having worked in organisations such as True and Family Planning NSW.  Outside of medicine, Dr. Young is a proud mother of two wonderful children. 

Dr. Young has a keen interest in the management of menopausal symptoms and the various conditions that arise around this time. She is also skilled in insertion of Implanon and intra-uterine devices (IUDs). She will be working at Women's Health Road on Wednesdays.
